Rolfing Structural Integration

  • In my practice rolfing® structural integration works to relieve pain, speed up recovery, enhance physical performance, and to help you find more comfort in your body while at rest. We work to reduce neuromuscular tension and inefficient holding patterns, this will help the body self-organize. Resulting in a more comfortable and efficient body, clients tend to report feeling and moving the best they have in years.

Sessions involve movement education and manual pressure. The pressure may feel very gentle or deep depending on the individual's tissue, but does not need to be painful. It should feel satisfying and appropriate to the client.

like learning a language this work has more results when taken thru a burst of sessions.

  • Like learning a language, traveling the world, financial freedom or any goal we set, it takes time to get there. Putting in time will allow the body to remember what it is you are trying to do. The rolfing® 10-series is the classic whole body formula developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf in the 1940's. Systematically it works in a way that each session builds on the last and continues on to the next allowing the greatest change possible to occur. This sequence enables the effects to not only last, but continues an intelligent process to systematically balance and organize the body.
